Car boot sale enthusiasts don’t have much longer to wait, with the hugely anticipated reopening of the weekly Blochairn event set to take place on Sunday 6th February 2022 at 6am.
Regular visitors will be delighted to see some familiar traders at the car boot sale, as well as new additions to the offer in February; following a 14-month closure due to the Coronavirus pandemic and onsite building works.
The car boot sale is expected to have over 50 pre-booked traders selling quality goods such as seasonal fruit and vegetables, meat, pet supplies, household goods and more, as well as spaces for hundreds of pre-booked cars. All trading pitches must be booked in advance, with bookings open from 10am on 19th January (CLICK HERE for booking details).
Commenting on the reopening, Richard Watson, Commercial Group Manager of City Property (Glasgow) LLP, said:
“We’re delighted to announce the reopening the car boot sale at Blochairn Fruit Market, following a challenging 21 months. Not only will the weekly event provide a platform for our resident traders to showcase their products, but it is also a fantastic day out for visitors from the local community and further afield.”
The car boot sale will run every Sunday from 6am-3pm at Glasgow Wholesale Markets depot on Blochairn Road, just off Junction 14 of the M8 motorway.
