Established in 1993, Blochairn Car Boot Sale is known for regularly attracting hundreds of sellers and thousands of visitors each week and it was the first market in the country to sign the ‘Real Deal’ charter.
Located at Glasgow Wholesale Markets depot (just off Junction 14 of the M8); the weekly car boot sale has spaces for hundreds of cars, as well as 50+ traders offering a wide range of quality goods and services.
Open every Sunday from 6am to 3pm, you can expect to find:
- Fresh fruit and seasonal vegetables
- A wide selection of meat
- Fashion and work wear
- Garden furniture, plants and tools
- Key cutting
- Household goods
- Sweets and confectionery
- Toys and childrenswear

BOOKING DETAILS & PITCH PRICES
Single-week car boot pitches are allocated on arrival (from 4am-8am) on a first come first served basis. Pitch prices start from £20 for a 10ft outdoor pitch and from £25 for a 10ft undercover pitch. Pitch payment is by card only.
Longer term pitches (4 weeks +) must be booked in advance by registering in person at our Markets Office, (Tuesday and Wednesday only between 10.30am-2pm). Please bring all documents required to register along with you, as follows: 1 form of photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport) and a recent utility bill (or bank statement / council tax bill, etc) dated within last 3 months. All fees due in full on first day of trading – a receipt will be issued for payment received.
